4 Reasons there will be more Transactions in Spring..

We are finding that the sentiment to buy and sell property at present is very high for a number of reasons due to Covid-19.

1. People have not been able to travel, and don’t see themselves in the foreseeable future travelling. This has sparked an appetite for downsizers to bring their plans forward because they have the time and spare cash to do so.

2. Sellers who are doing it tough financially are having to sell and downgrade to a more affordable property, which is allowing them to take out some cash, pay off some debt, and lower their mortgage.

3. Some people have been told that they will be working from home part time now, so therefore their living arrangements have changed, and they need extra rooms for home offices.

4. In general people have realised that they are going to spend more time at home and want different things now re living. They have also had more time to talk about doing the move, and have also had lots of time to prepare their properties for sale

Looks like we are not going to get a huge rush of properties coming on the market this spring, therefore it’s going to keep the prices up.
